Welcome to Marrow Donor! This is a blog that was originally setup in an effort to find a bone marrow donor for our friend Lars Larsen, who was diagnosed with Leukemia in the Fall of 2006. Lars would find a donor through the National Bone Marrow Registry, but he would succumb to the disease before the transplant could be completed.
I’ve decided to keep it up with the hope that someone else may find some of the information helpful in their quest to understand and assist in the ongoing fight to assist those with Leukemia. I also keep it up as a tribute to my friend Lars.
